As part of a thank-you to the production team behind the BAFTA 2022 powder room, I was asked to re-purpose footage to craft a behind-the-scenes type video edit. It was a pleasure to work on a project showcasing the achievements of so many talented people.
My aim with this small personal project was to demonstrate the creative use of 3D layers and keyframing in After Effects. There are no limits to conception when it comes to being creative; ideas become reality with a few clicks and the swipe of a mouse.
I completed this short edit for Coolbox Films by repurposing existing content and collecting and merging creative b-roll. It's a simple yet poignant video, and I found editing it to be a very interesting endeavour. Having the opportunity to learn about this interesting project while also editing and creating was a great experience.
Brighton Bop is a personal project I produced while studying Media Production in Brighton. It takes inspiration from the Vogue short: Daniel Arnold’s New York and weaves a tapestry of vivid moments capturing a man's daily errands in a whirlwind of colour and emotion.
For this personal project, my aim was to use a mixture of sound design and calming visuals to conjure a sense of tranquillity and calmness. With stock footage and sound effects, it's possible to craft a simple yet meaningful production that evokes emotion within your audience.
Expanding your brand reach and appeal through creative content is a no-brainer. With this simple concept piece, it's easy to understand why so many brands use animation to get their message across and I created this concept piece with this in mind. Graphics and animation can promote ideas in ways that stand-alone videos cannot. Pair this with some basic sound design, and you have yourself an eye-catching piece of advertisement.
